Why Obimin ?

Obimin prevents iron-deficiency anemia and megaloblastic anemia secondary to folate deficiency. It provides adequate supplemental doses of iron and folic acid.
Obimin maintains healthy epithelial tissues such as those of the skin and eyes, as well as connective tissue integrity.
Obimin prevents and corrects B-complex deficiencies occurring in pregnancy and lactation, including beri-beri, nausea and vomiting, peripheral neuritis.

Why Obimin Calcium ?

During Pregnancy and perinatal period, a mother need to take calcium supplement to be healthy for both a baby and her. Obimin Calcium contains Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphrous, Vitamin D₃, and Fructo-oligosaccharide which is not included in other calcium supplement in Myanmar. That is why Obimin Calcium can go into the body and blood stream within a short duration after taking the drug. In Obimin Calcium, Calcium is formulated as calcium carbonate which contains highest elemental calcium. By taking Obimin Calcium, you can reduce muscle cramp, pre-eclampsia, pregnancy hypertension, post-partum haemorrhage, pre-term birth, low birth weight. Obimin Calcium can also reduce the risk of seizures, apnea or slow breathing, tachycardia in your baby. By replenishing the calcium lost during pregnancy and lactation, you can prevent osteoporosis.

What is the medication used for?

This Nutritional supplement has vitamin and mineral to help provide adequate supply of essential nutrients during pregnant & lactation

Folic acid, vitamin B6 and B12: Folic acid is necessary for the prevention of neural tube defects (NTDs). NTDs are malformations of baby’s brain and/ or spinal cord, which can be prevented by adequate folic acid intake particularly during the very early stages of pregnancy.
Iron and Iodine: Iron deficiency anemia is one of the most prevalent nutritional problems in the world. Pregnant women are at particular high risk of iron deficiency because iron needs during the stage is very high. Iron is required for the proper development of the baby’s spinal cord and the white matter of the brain. Iron, together with iodine, helps in the proper mental development and cognition of babies.
B complex vitamins (Vita B1, B2, B6, B12, Nicotinamide, and Calcium Pantothenate): To help optimize conversion of food into energy that the body can utilize for numerous physiologic processes such as respiration, digestion, blood circulation, and immune system response.
Calcium and Vitamin D: To help maintain strong bones and teeth and protect against osteoporosis later in life. Calcium builds the baby’s teeth and bones, which begin in the first trimester of pregnancy, and continues through term. Vitamin D increases calcium absorption in the intestine.
Vitamin A and C: To trap harmful free radicals through their protective antioxidant effects and help boost immune system. Vitamins A and C also maintain good eyesight and healthy skin.

Dosage

Orally, one tablet a day or as prescribed by a doctor. If you are allergic to any component of the product, please do not continue this medicine.
